Ana Moioli was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil but moved to New York City at 18 years old after being accepted into the Acting BFA program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, leaving her family and comfort zone behind to pursue her dream career. There, she was trained at the Lee Strasberg Institute of Theatre and Film, Experimental Theatre Wing, and Stonestreet Studios. She is the Co-Founding Artistic Director of Et Alia Theater, a NYC-based company that champions stories by and about international women.

She has performed in several theater productions and films. She recently co-starred in Law & Order Ep 2204. She also produced and starred in CherryBomb, a comedic TV series by Quinn Cavin and Mafalda Pinto Corrêia, available for streaming on Prime Video, Apple TV, and Google Play. Some of her film credits include Guilherme Pedra's multi-award-winning film Elsewhere: A Flor Azul (Best Actress Award - ASFF), Vicente Gonzalez's Julieta, Best Actress nomination - Independent Shorts Awards), and Mirella Cardoso's How to Water Roses. A few of her recent theater credits include Et Alia’s productions Until Dark by Federica Borlenghi at Out of the Box Theatrics, Stella, Come Home, directed by sarAika movement collective at HERE and The Brick, Saudades by Fernando Segall at JACK, and This is Me Eating___, directed by Debora Balardini at Alchemical Studios.

Ana started her life in the performing arts at the young age of 9 years old, when she entered the esteemed Célia Helena Theater School, in São Paulo. At 17, she graduated from their conservatory program, which she attended while still in high school. Her departure to NYC was only made possible through a fundraising campaign she launched to cover the tuition expenses called ‘Ana na NYU', which gathered hundreds of known and unknown supporters of her educational and professional goals, to whom she will forever be thankful.

Ana also works as a director, producer, and writer. She co-directed with Ryan Cairns the short film Till Morning, written by Luísa Galatti, which won the Oustanding Drama Award at AOBFF and Best Coming-of-Age Short at Manhattan Film Festival. Before that, she also wrote/directed/edited the short film Bridge. Her debut play For The Time Being, which she also performed in, had its first public reading at Dixon Place, followed by a full production at the NYWinterfest Festival. For Et Alia, she directed the staged reading of the play Lolique, by Isabella Uzcátegui, and the online theater piece None of the above, part of Rattlestick's Global Forms Theater Festival. Besides CherryBomb, she also recently produced and acted in The Second Act, a short film by Victor Fontoura, which won Best Project at Latino Film Market. Ana is also part of Chess At Three's creative team, writing educational stories that teach chess to young kids.
